The Bolton-Le-Sands Bonfire and Fireworks Committee reserves the right to cancel the display,
at short notice if necessary, due to unforeseen circumstances, force majeure, excessively
inclement weather or the like.

Should a decision to cancel the display be reached, the gates will remain closed, and ticket
outlets requested to stop selling tickets.   Members of the public who attend will be advised of the
cancellation.  Local radio stations will be contacted to broadcast a message about the cancellation.

In these circumstances, and only in these circumstances, will members of the public who
purchased tickets for the display prior to the event from recognised ticket outlets be allowed to
claim a full refund of the ticket value.   In all other circumstances,  including the abandonment of
the display after commencement, no refund will be made.

To claim a refund, the ticket holders should attend the Community Centre, Bolton-Le-Sands, on the
Saturday following the cancelled event, between 10:00hrs (10am) and 16:00hrs (4pm), where the
Committee will check the tickets against a ticket register and offer a full refund.
